The THX Certified Home Theater 2 workshop is geared towards professional designers and installers who are planning a career in home theater design, installation, testing and calibration.
Pre-requisite: You must already have successfully completed a THX Certified Professional Home Theater 1 workshop. If space permits, Home Theater 1 and Home Theater 2 certification courses can be taken in succession.

Professional Certification Requirements:
- Prior Home Theater 1 certification (can be taken concurrently with Home Theater 2)
- Attend the entire Home Theater 2 workshop
- Pass the Home Theater 2 online exam within 3 weeks of course your date
- Stay current on industry knowledge and pass Home Theater 2 online exam every two years
- Pay annual renewal fee of $50
General Course Information
THX Education Program workshops include lunch on each day of the training. Attendees must cover their travel costs including airfare, hotels, parking and transportation, as well as breakfast and dinner. THX will provide all necessary classroom and workshop material, a certificate of completion and other cool THX stuff.
Hours of each day: 9am to 6pm. Plan travel generously to allow for possible traffic or other delays.
